Gnome Overthrown

Created for GDS x LoJam 2025

NOTE: THIS GAME REQUIRES A CONTROLLER. KEYBOARD INPUT IS NOT SUPPORTED.

Description:

Somehow, the tyrannical gnome king has been dethrowned! His SYSTEM of oppression has been BROKEN.

Now it is up to the social SYSTEM of gnomes to agree on how to distribute his wealth.

Objective:

The treasure will move towards the least populated side. When it reaches the end of 

the platform, the more popular side gets a point.

First to reach 5 points wins.

If more than one player reaches a winning score, the game goes into

Sudden Death, where only the players who had previously reached a winning score

can earn points. Play continues until one player has achieved more points than the

others.

Controls:

Use the joystick to move left/right. Once the treasure is nearing the edge, a one way

gate will appear, preventing players from the losing side from crossing over to the

winning side (but not vice versa)
