A downloadable game for Windows

Pitch

"Another clammy evening at the bottom of the ocean. It's your job to keep the streets clean for another night..by shooting any trash that gets in your way."

Game Details

My submission for Fanshawe College's GDP2021-22 Final Game Jam.

Take control of an underwater detective to find and shoot 5 cans that have been scattered across the scene.

Despite the noir tone of the above tagline, none of the content within the game is meant to be taken seriously, as the theme was selected as a way to test out different shaders and fit in multiple Simpsons references.

Concept Art

Old Man - Character Design

Design for an old man character who would yell at you after completing the mission. The character didn't make it into the game, but his voice file still plays to shame you for blindly shooting things just because an in-game HUD tells you to.

Original artwork of the player character. The in game model is intended as a placeholder for this design.

Hello

Good work on your demo. Underwater city idea was quite innovative. Your water shader did give a good result. I also liked how you organized the code.

A bit more comments would have made your code even more readable. Do try to evolve this project further by adding other gameplay elements. Maybe AI fishes!!

Keep it up! All the best!
